Make a birthday memory gift for a parent with a focused family timeline. Gather contributions, choose original files and prepare a personal video selection.
A birthday offers a clear starting point for a memory gift: one year, one decade or one family chapter. Choose a timeline your parent will recognise rather than trying to document an entire life.
Choose a timeline
Invite contributors to send one memory and the original photo or clip that goes with it. Give them a simple deadline and ask permission to include the material in the gift, especially when other people appear.
Invite family contributions
Arrange the selection on your computer and keep an untouched backup. Check file compatibility with the shop before preparing the USB transfer to the Forever Orb. Test a small group of files before copying the full selection.
Arrange the memories
Add a card that explains the period you chose and any gaps that matter. Avoid making claims about dates you have not confirmed. The collection should invite conversation, not present itself as a definitive family history.
